Some thoughts from David on his developing Homage Series:

Studies in serendipity…

Daedalist installation complete

Wed, 2014-05-28

David's latest commission Daedalist is now installed at the new Fort McMurray Airport in Alberta.  This project was a change of pace for the studio and offered some unique challenges and opportunities.  Our thanks go out to the Fort McMurray Airport Authority, CEO Scott Clements, Public Art Consultant Todd Bressi, and Boreal Force Majeure Erin Schwab.  It was also our pleasure to work with excellent teams from OMB Architecture, Stantec, and Ledcor Construction.

Daedalist has a wingspan of nearly 30', weighs under 50 pounds, and hangs about 30' off the floor of the Arrivals Hall in the new airport.
